I've been travelling around the city a lot the last few days just catching up with old friends I haven't seen in ages..I work so much I forget to have fun once in a while LOL today I had a meeting with a new potential client.. and it was a great day for subway sketches as a lot of the people I saw had some very interesting features that were fun to draw..tomorrow its back to work LOL hopefully I'll get to do some personal art in the next few days as I tackle this weeks work load .. :)

Pen and Pencil sketches..its been a while since I used traditional mediums..these sketches are done in preparation for a new feature film I'll be working on this month for the Toronto Film Festival 2011 :) I'll be doing all the story boards for this film..should be good :)

I toned down the lights cause I found it was making the model too bright and washing out all the shadows.. I also made some adjustments to the nose, mouth, chin, and jaw :) its looking better..but there is still something that's bothering me LOL and I just can't put my finger on it at right now..maybe its the eyes LOL..so I'm gonna leave this and move on....I'll re examine this with fresh eyes tomorrow...on to the next one!

Shoes are done! also fixed up the pants a bit around the hem lines :) now to make a few more edits on the jacket and shirt and I'm pretty much done with this model :) then on to UV's, textures and maybe some Z-brush :)

Testing it out with a quick render :) might have to make it lower poly cause its bumping up my counts a lot..so I'll do a low res one and then do a normal map with Zbrush :) gonna do that right now :)

Man work picked up again with a lot of clients ordering new art LOL and I injured my right calf muscle in training LOL which is crazy cause my conditioning is amazing right now..I still don't understand how the injury happened...ah well... but I'm all healed up and I'm also done with work for the week...so I have a small long weekend for myself... so I'm finally back :) and decided to warm up with some 3d stuff.. reworking the tire treads...I took away one pattern that was bumping the polycount too high..and started to duplicate and weld the patterns :) gonna make a few more segments then round it out to give it the tire shape :) just a quick test render of the pattern so far to see how it looks :)

Took me a while to weld the breasts to the torso...just to get the shape to look right took some time...I'll still probably go back in to fix them up a bit more...I'm pretty happy with the speed this is coming along..gonna work on the weapon..then move around the rest of the model.. :)

Just finished Wolverines hand :) so I just have to make a few more small adjustments then he's done! :) I haven't posted any of the web comic art yet.. the format for the art is horizontal not vertical so I had to make some adjustments again LOL hopefully this weekend I'll have half of the layouts done :) Just gotta wrap up some more work for another contract then I'll get back on the models later tonight. I'll be up working all night tonight LOL

reworking the body..the boobs are still kinda round though LOL I just used a primative to create them..I'm gonna rework them and weld them to the body :) then the block model will be almost done..all I gotta do is make the hair and weapon :) gonna post the comic art tomorrow..its been a long day doing 3d all day pretty much ...I get so excited doing it now that I lose track of time LOL ..gonna go to bed now so I can have an early start on Sundays work :)

Re-working my loops for this model again..its slowly getting there..I'm pretty happy with the way its looking cause its a very clean mesh and not that messy to look at :) just a few more minor tweaks..then I can start on the hair as well :)

Just finished off the bipod stand..still not too clear on some of the details I'm missing cause my reference is very blury LOL and for now I just don't have time to surf the net for more LOL its time for bed :) got a 6:30am work out to stick too :) I'll post more stuff tomorrow..I wrapped up all my work for the toy company today :)

Just a quick test render..Looks decent :) I found some areas around the eyes and cheeks that may need more polys..we'll see though as I weld it all together I might be able to just smooth it all out hopefully by just adjusting verts :)

using a new method for this head and its seems to work a lot faster :) I'm using splines and converting them to polys now instead of starting out with planes...don't know why I never tried this before LOL I should have this done today :)

test render of the front and back so far..I did a few adjustments on the pants :) and added cuffs to the shirt and added the hands as well :) polycount is nice and low..so hopefully the head won't bump it up that much LOL time to sleep! which is something I haven't been getting much of lately cause of work LOL gotta workout early in the morning again :) I'll be posting the model stand and gun progress tomorrow for the Barracuda model :) and hopefully if I get a chance I'll show some of my comic book art too..the preliminary layouts only LOL I'll be submitting it to Zuda next month now LOL

Step 04- continuing with the edge extrusions...I deleted some faces on the back to make room for the engine trunk in the back :) wire frame on the right...quick test render with the turbo smooth on the left..I don't know much about cars LOL so I had to do a looooot research on this one LOL this is by far my favourite super car of all time now :) just beautiful design! if I had the money this would be my dream car for sure :) I'll be starting the doors next and the roof as well :)

Step 02 ..Got busy with work again last night LOL business is good so I can't complain..I get paid to draw pictures! LOL how crazy is that LOL .. so anywaz today after spending some time with family.. I got some free time to do a bit more modelling..here is step 02..from the right view port..I started out with a plane and extruded the edges to creat the wheel arch.. I'm also using the turbo smooth through out to help out :) I'll post the next few steps as I go along :) I'll be doing more personal concept art today as well.

Step 01...Starting my new car model of a Lotus Stealth :) I'll try to post my process step by step for everyone to see :) This is step 1...just laying out the foundation for the images..I start out with image planes I got online..and layed them out in a box format to help with the modelling process..
